The vehicle assembly activities are split between the San Diego and Tijuana facilities. The San Diego staff focuses its energy on the design, development and implementation of all vehicle programs. Once a program is well defined, it is formally transferred to the technical staff in Tijuana where the major portions of the manufacturing activities are located.

The highly trained staff in this department is qualified to work with various metals such as steel, aluminum and titanium to name a few using TIG, MIG and other equipment. The staff is assisted with a large library of tools and fixtures developed in house.

A strong contributor to the strength within all of our structures are the components molded in this department. Over the years, HST has developed a strong manufacturing pedigree based on both its small and large platform capabilities. Ranging from open mold techniques to high volume prepreg processing expertise, HST has the right solution for most of the situations it encounters.
